Choozofy is an app which aggregates exclusive discounted fares from across the globe.
How are you different from others?
Choozofy specializes in bringing exclusive fares for frequent travellers, group travelers or any subset of travellers who have niche. Currently choozofy brings discounted fares for Students. Students are a group who are very close to us. Most airlines have some discount for students, but at choozofy we further negotiate with airlines to bring in even more discounted fares.
How are you able to get discounted fares?
Since we cater to niche groups we are able to derive useful insights and patterns which help our suppliers maximize their yield and load factors.
For example every year there are about 1000 students who travel to Germany in the month of July and a particular airline let's say Lufthansa has 5 flights operating between Delhi and Germany, but the airline has a lower average load factor on of its flights flying on Tuesdays. We approach the airline to offer a better deal to all the 1000 Students to fill the aircraft every tuesday for few weeks.
This way the airline
- gets the bookings in advance
- load factor improves
- students who flew with the airline are more likely to fly back on the same airline, which improves the loyalty and brand recall.
- the airline doesnt have to pay a distribution fee.
A win-win is created between the airline and the customer.
Why are your fees so low?
We are a tech first company and we keep our costs extremely low. Since we are a platform supporting both suppliers and the consumers there are no licensing fees which we incur unlike the large OTAs or Travel agents.
Being tech first and being lean enables us to pass on all the benefit the supplier wants to give to their customers, this reduces a lot of friction as OTA or other travel agents almost always try to broker the deal and keep a hidden commission, this creates a value gap between an airline and its customer.
Our mission is to enable a direct relationship between the supplier and the customer through our platform.
